Beautiful American-Style School, New Taipei City, Perfect for Newbie teacher! Work in a beautiful neighborhood that is green and pretty but close to Downtown Taipei Well-established American-style language institute in a new and very upscale suburb of Taipei called Sanxia (near Taipei University). Pay is around 55000-58000/month, depending on numbers of classes taught. Working hours: 9am-4pm, M-F (30 min. arrival prior to start of class is required); 430-610pm, 4 days/wk (elementary class). Students’ age: 3 to 12 years old. Class size: No more than 18, with Chinese staff assistance. Contract length: One year. The school has a large and spacious facility, and provides set curriculum, initial and on-going training, ARC, insurance, airport pick up, and housing assistance. One head foreign teacher and 9 happy foreign teachers on board! Very cool Chinese manager. 20 min. bus ride from MRT station. Great for first-time teachers as well as experienced teachers. Couple welcome! Location: This branch is located in a suburb in Taipei County (now called Sinbei City) called Sanxia. Sanxia is a lovely and well known historic town famous for its Old Street and large traditional temple. It is also very green with many trails nearby for hiking. Across the river from the Old Street is the Taipei University, the new and upscale neighborhood where the school is situated. It is full of modern public art and shiny high-rises. This is great for someone who wants to live somewhere quaint and nice yet can enjoy the convenience of Taipei. Requirements: You must be university graduate from one of the six native-English countries, and have lots of love, patience and energy for teaching children!
