Teach Only Adults in Cheonan

-It is very difficult to get a job in Korea teaching only adults. Most institutes have children. This is your opportunity to teach only adults and make a decent salary doing it.

-The job is located in Cheonan. - Cheonan is just an hour and a half from Seoul by subway (Line #1) or bus. The cost is just 2100-2300 won. The school is located about 20 minutes from the subway/train station. The school is just one minute from the Cheonan Bus Terminal. Cheonan has about 600,000 people. You would be working in the downtown area, close to many foreign restaurants like TGI Fridays, Burger King, Mcdonalds, KFC, Popeyes, and Outback Steakhouse.

- Subway - there are 2 subway stations in Cheonan. Oha is located about halfway between them. It takes only 20 minutes to walk there from the institute. As well, it is very easy to get a seat on the subway when you are going to Seoul.

-Accommodation – the accommodation is a single apartment which is located about 10 minutes from the school. The rent will be paid by the school, but the teacher is responsible for paying the utility bill. The apartment will be furnished.

-Start Date - September 1st, 2005.
Salary - 2,000,000 won/month (during the vacation period you can make more more money, for example by teaching 7 hours a day)
- Taxes are about 5%

Work Schedule - classes are 50 minutes. You would be working 6 hours a day
- 7am to 7:50am
- 9am to 9:50am (vacation period)
- 10am to 10:50am (vacation period)
- 11am to 11:50am
- 5pm to 5:50pm
- 6pm to 6:50pm
- 7pm to 7:50pm
- 8pm to 8:50pm
- Airfare is provided by the institute
- The students are intermediate and advanced students. The Korean teachers will teach the beginner students.
- Free breakfast!
- The school has been open for 12 years.
- The school currently has 2 foreign teachers and 10 Korean teachers and is looking for 2 more teachers to start in September. The school also has Japanese and Chinese.

Qualifications
- In order to obtain the necessary E2 visa for teaching English in Korea applicants must be a native speaker of English and have a degree
- Females prefered
- American and Canadian teachers are prefered.
- Experience prefered but not necessary
- Please make sure your university mails you your transcripts and do NOT open the envelope that the university sends you. Immigration law is very strict about this. If you don't have your transcipts, get them sent to you ASAP.
