Oxford School is looking for English teachers from Oct '09 to May '10. We are a private school in Romano di L. a very characteristic town in the north of Italy.
We are looking for a motivated, confident, enthusiastic, and lively English native teachers to teach one to one classes and groups to adults.
Celta/Tefl/Tesol Cert. and min.2 years exp.with EU passport is required. Teachers need to have a full driving licence.
Our school is wonderfully located. It is very close to cities like Milan, Verona and Venice and just 40km from the skiing resorts. So, if you like teaching English as a second language, but you also love art, history, culture, and beauty, this is the perfect place for you because all these places and many other fascinating sites are easily accessible and can be reached within one hour. If you love nature and sports, charming mountains are near at hand and if you are fond of water… Lake Garda is 30 minutes away!
We offer a full time legal contract from Oct '09 to May 2009.
Accommodation and a car (if necc.) are provided by the school on arrival.
All costs for accom, and car are paid by the school.
Health insurance, tax and retirement fund contributions are paid by the school.
Accommodation is provided in spacious apartments with private bedroom while sharing the living room and bathroom with one other teacher.
The apartments are 5 minutes’ walk from the school.
The salary is enough to live very comfortably in Italy, to travel as you wish, to enjoy the Italian way of life. The usual workload is about 30 hours a week and the lessons could be in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening (Monday to Friday and sometimes Saturday mornings). We usually try to concentrate them as much as possible so that when teachers come to school they work for some hours, not for just one lesson.
