Jobs for July-Aug: Manor Courses Ltd is looking for qualified EFL Teachers (BRITISH nationals) for its family-run Residential Summer School (since 1970) for young foreign students from 6-17 years. Courses are residential for students and teachers. Teachers are involved in some Activities and Supervison roles as well as the morning EFL classes.

1 - Recruiting:
We are looking for British nationals who:

•Have relevant EFL training / degrees / certificates (Cambridge RSA CELTA / Trinity CTESOL / DELTA / DipTESOL).
•Have classroom experience at any level (preferably Residential School experience).
•Are enthusiastic and willing to work with young students.
•Are prepared to accept other duties as well as teaching (i.e. excursions, residential supervision).

2 - REMUNERATION PACKAGE includes:

* Salary: £190.00 per week (less NI & Tax if applicable)
* Accommodation for duration of contract (plus laundry).
* Full board (3 meals a day, refreshments throughout).
* First Aid training with certificate.
* 1 Day Off per week.
* Directors and families are always in residence, offering a high level of professional support and pastoral care to staff and students alike.

* N.B: There will be a 2 day Induction Course (from 4 July).

3A - Main Responsibilities:

•LESSONS - 3hrs. per morning, 5 times per week.
Plus HOMEWORK - 45min. per afternoon, 5 times per week.
•DUTY ROTAS - 2hr. Supervisory Duties (of facilities/activities) per afternoon/evening, 6 times per week.
•RESIDENTIAL - Bedtime/Wake-up Duty, approx. 3 times per week.

3B - Other Resonsibilities:

•Materials - Plan and organise materials from a range of resources.
•Testing - Oral testing and marking of placement tests, weekly.
•Certificates - Write final certificates, weekly.
•Social Activities Programme - Participation in social activities programme, welcome assemblies and farewell presentations.
•Excursions - Attendance on full day and afternoon excursions, weekly.
•Dress - Smart-casual, Manor Courses T-shirt available for duties.

Taunton, Somerset (South West England, 45min from Bristol)

5 - Company Background:
A Family Business founded in 1970, Manor Courses Ltd. have been running Residential Summer English Courses in Brighton, the Cotswolds, Malvern, Lewes and Somerset.
Our Head Office is located in Brighton; our Residential School is located at Taunton School in Somerset (near Bristol).
English and social programme throughout July and August, students arriving for 2, 3, 4 or 6 week courses.
We offer courses for children aged 6 - 17, promising agents and parents a safe environment managed by a family company, with an large team of fully qualified TEFL Teachers, a full-time D.O.S., plus Sports and Arts Leaders.
We have a team of approx. 40 staff each summer.
Directors and families are always in residence, offering a high level of proffessional support and pastoral care to staff and students alike.
All staff and students resident on campus.
Qualified and experienced TEFL teachers recruited for the above courses.
Contracts are for 4 or 6 weeks from 6 July.
