The "ELS" foreign language school looks for experienced native speaker teachers from the UK or Ireland. Only teachers with certificates in teaching (TEFL or similar) will be accepted. MA or BA in English is also accepted. We offer an interesting job in a nice place. You will be offered 25-hour week with the rate 32 zloty per hour (about 7 euro). We expect high motivation and creativity. Nice and friendly personality is also essential. The school provides a short training as well as any help and resources needed. The teaching procedures implemented by the school are aimed at practical English usage in real life situations. The job starts in late September 2005 and lasts till June 2006 (can be prolonged).
The school is situated in the very heart of the old town of Zielona Gora ("green mountain" in English). It is a university town with the populatation of 120 000 people (most of them young). It is not far from Berlin (150 km) and Prague (300 km). There are many places to go out and green areas surrounding the town are perfect for walking and cycling.
