Teacher- Holiday Villages in Italy

We are urgently looking for another teacher to join our team English teachers in three Italian holiday villages for the 2005 summer season. The contracts run from June 16 to August 6 .We are prepared to consider people for periods of one month or more but applicants interested in working the whole season will be given precedence.

The teacher will live as a guest in a luxury holiday village in a beautiful location. Teachers will teach for a maximum of twenty four hours a day . There are other They will teach four groups (Adult beginners, Adult Intermediate, Teenagers, Children). The students are guests and the lessons must entertain. Our students will be choosing English instead of the Macarena or Volleyball. If they don’t have fun they won’t attend the lessons. The teacher will receive a complete course to teach.

A computer and photocopier will be available on site and you can contact the office in Genoa if you need other material.

Teachers will be asked to think of and organise other linguistic based activities. On the Cruise ships we have an evening ‘Aperitivo in Inglese ‘on board at the holiday village we will offer the same service. Walks with an English commentary, beach activities, English Karaoke might all prove to be popular and we want someone on site who is interested in trying to develop fun ways to meet English.

Teachers must conform to the dress code..

We are looking for an EFL qualified self-starter with some knowledge of Italian, at least two years teaching experience including young children.

€600-€700 per month + accommodation + one return fare Genova to the site
All applicants must attend an interview in Genoa. Anyone accepted must attend a one-day training course in Genoa.

Applicants must be available for an interview in Genova immediately and qualified EFL teachers (DELTA, CELTA Trinty, Irish qualifications etc PGCE is more than acceptable).

We also require one teacher, living in Italy be prepared to be ‘stand-by’ for emergencies
