HLI are World leaders in Home Stay Language teaching.
They are seeking further tutors to host and teach English in English homes. The high quality of their tutor staff and the professionalism they bring are crucial in achieving their success.
The succesful applicants
living in a country where English is the first language; will be professional people with a teaching qualification, preferably in foreign language teaching to adults. Alternative professional qualifications, or a university degree may be acceptable.

You might be self employed and working from home, or a teacher looking for extra work in the holidays, perhaps retired or at home with the children. There are many reasons why you would like to run your own teaching business from home.

Tutor availability
some tutors choose to work all year round, others work only in school holidays, once you have been accepted, you may choose when you want to work.

You are free to accept or turn down each student you are offered, for any reason you like.

What Does the Post Involve?
Having a student live with you; typically for 2 weeks, during which time they will be treated as a member of your family and will receive each day (normally) 3 hours of formal lessons in English, taught on a one to one basis.

The students are normally taught 15 hours a week. Sometimes the students opt for activities instead of lessons for some part of their course
