The CREF (Centre Regional d'Etudes Francaises et Russes) is currently looking to expand our English department in order to involve more students and to broaden our offering of programs.

Qualifications: Candidates must be native speakers with formal TEFL training (TEFL certificate minimum). Experience is preferred, but isn't mandatory. An open mind and an adaptable spirit are necessary.

Responsibilities: The position is for 20 (actual) hours a week of teaching adults either in groups at our center (located in downtown Moscow) or in the respective offices of our corporate clients. Clients relying on CREF for English language instruction include Total, Bouygues Telecom, and Yves Rocher. Teachers are responsible for motivating their students, noting progress, and preparing them for various standardized exams (TELC, for example).

Benefits: A salary starting at $13 an hour (based on qualifications), visa support, 4 weeks paid vacation/year, and assistance with finding accommodation. The contract will be for one year (renewable), starting in February.

About the CREF: We are a small school located in central Moscow (not far from Arbat) Our school offers courses in French, Russian, and English, and caters to all age groups and skill levels. Beginning in Q1 of 2006, we will also become the first school in Moscow to offer TELC (European Language Certificates) certification in English. Classes are generally held before 9 AM or after 6 PM in company, and anytime during the day at our center.
