The English Planet Language School located in the central Pyrenees Mountains of Spain has two additional “au pair” positions open with its carefully selected families.

Requirements: Female between 20 and 30 years of age. Native English speaker. College degree. Preferred experience with teaching English and working with young children. Friendly, flexible and easy going disposition.

Job Description: “Professional teacher / baby-sitter” responsible for taking care of child / children (under 10 years of age) Monday – Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm. English teaching / speaking is a fundamental component of this job along with helping with homework, helping with dinner and putting children to sleep. There may be weekend afternoon work during the ski season which could include skiing with children. In addition, there will be occasional night time baby-sitting when parents go out to dinner etc.

Compensation Package: In exchange for above services the teacher / sitter will be given room and board (private room) along with pocket money. There is a possibility for access to vehicle for personal use as well as use with taking care of children. Both families will make an effort to help teacher / sitter improve or learn Spanish. Both families speak English.

Miscellaneous: These positions will be most attractive to those interested in skiing or snowboarding due to the fact that the teacher/ sitter will be living 15 minutes from the largest ski resort in Spain. A reduced priced season pass will be made available. The resort closes in late April. The positions are now open and conclude late May 2006.
