We are looking for an English teacher. The post calls for a TEFL certified person with at least 1 year teaching experience. As we are a technical university we teach business, mechanical engineering, and textile English along with general English, but we focus on ESP. (We do not teach English literature, drama, or history).

The successful candidate will teach 8-9 90 min. lessons a week, plus he/she has to hold two 90-minute – office hours a week. His/her responsibilities are to:
prepare and teach lessons,
prepare tests
help with translations at the department.
The salary is around 13,000 Kc a month, it is not much but there are many possibilities for private lessons.
We can arrange accommodation for the candidate at the halls of residence for Ph.D students. The price is around 2000Kc a month.

Liberec is a very nice city where anybody can do many sport activities. It is surrounded by mountains so biking and hiking in summer is very popular here, and skiing in winter. There are also 2 theaters and cinemas, and a gallery. Liberec is not far from Prague – about 90 km and the connection is very good.
