2 positions - Stuttgart/ Muelheim Ruhr

We are looking for an experienced EFL professional with experience of training in a corporate environment, who is interested in working at a single location within standard office hours.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the English training of 80-100 professionals. All training will aim to support clients in doing their jobs better in English. Implementation includes the running of workshops, regular classes, on-the-job training, materials development and some administration tasks.

Although the trainer is based directly in the client’s offices and may liaise with Department Head(s), s/he is an employee of TARGET and reports directly to our Location Manager on-site.

Trainer support (e.g. materials and trainer development) is provided via Target's on-site Location Manager, immediate colleagues and through contact with other locations around Germany. Offices, training rooms, and intranet/internet access are provided.

Mülheim ad Ruhr: beg Oct 2008

Qualifications

- Recognised EFL qualification (min. RSA Cert or equivalent)
- 5 years EFL experience including corporate / business English training OR
- Technical / commercial background and 2 years TEFL experience
- Comfortable using standard Microsoft Office programmes (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- A committed, professional attitude to training, work in general & managing the client
- A knowledge of German is an advantage but not obligatory

Compensation
- Initial two-year contract
- 40hr working week (full employment which includes administration, material development)
- Starting salary: € 2 600 / month
- The monthly salary is raised by 5% in the second year
- 30 days holiday
- A €1500 bonus is payable upon successful completion of the contract
