About Varna and Bulgaria

Bulgaria joined the EU in 2007 and is developing and changing fast. Now is a great time to come and see the country before it changes too much. Varna is the second biggest city in the country with about 500,000 inhabitants, which rises every summer with tourists from Bulgaria and around the world. Bulgaria is still the cheapest country in the EU in terms of cost of living and the salary goes a long way in Varna. The biggest expense is probably the accommodation, which is about 250-300 euros per month for your own apartment - less if you wish to share. Food and drink is cheap as you'll see in the city guide for Bulgaria.
Qualifications:
Essential
* Native speakers only. Due to Visa regulations, UK or Irish nationals are preferred. Candidates from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand or South Africa are welcome for 3 or 6 month contracts

At least 2 of the following 3
* University Degree (any subject)
* CELTA or equivalent
* 2 years teaching experience

Desirable
Experience teaching both adults and kids
Experience teaching exam classes
Experience living abroad

Most importantly, we are looking for someone who gets on well with people, is a good communicator and cares about teaching and the students.
