Our school is in Lanciano
THE TOWN. It is a small town in the county of Abruzzo. It has around 40, 000 inhabitants. The town is about an hour by train from Pescara, where the nearest airport is situated (Pescara-Stansted flights daily). It is half an hour’s drive from the mountains and the National Park and fifteen minutes from the Adriatic sea.
THE SCHOOL. Classes are offered to children, adults, teenagers, individuals and to the nearby Honda factory. Class sizes are typically between 4-8 . The school uses the English File materials for many of its students and also prepares students for Trinity Preliminary English Test, First Certificate Tests and Advanced Tests. The school has also produced its own materials. Lessons start at three in the afternoon and finish at nine at night, although there may be a couple of mornings as well depending on demand. Teachers do not work weekends. The school is small, clean and friendly and there is a great atmosphere.

A TESOL qualification is desirable. Experience is not relevant

Accommodation is provided in a clean, well furnished and modern flat ten minutes walk from the school.All the bills ( excepts for gas ) are fully paid. Accommodation has to be shared with two other people but everybody has got its own single room.
There is 24 hour free internet and computer access, use of a school car (although you pay for petrol)
Teachers are paid a salary of 140 euros a week (more than enough to live on) and they are paid without fail every week (which is a rarity in Italy!) Teachers are also paid extra if they work more than 20 hours a week but are not penalised if there is less than 20 hours a week.
