Become an IB Diploma Programme Examiner
As a consequence of continued growth in the number of candidates entering the IB Diploma Programme for the 16 to 19 year age group, the IB is seeking applications from professional educators worldwide to become assistant examiners.

Becoming an IB examiner will help your Professional Development and provide an extra source of income. You will; receive invaluable online training to prepare you for your new role, be able to learn from our senior examiners and gain an insight into the IB assessment process.

Requirements
Examiners must assess students’ work accurately and consistently as well as provide feedback and reports. They should be fluent speakers of at least one of the IB’s working languages: English, French & Spanish. We are particularly keen to hear from people who are bilingual. 45 modern languages are regularly offered to candidates as well as Latin and Classical Greek. Many of our existing examiners are current or retired teachers.
Previous experience of examining is desirable, but not essential. All applicants must have an email address and access to the Internet in an environment that is suitable for marking examination material.
For further details and to download an application form, please visit http://www.ibo.org/examiners
Completed application forms should be emailed to examrecruit@ibo.org quoting the reference ESL09.
