Our institute is currently seeking 1 female foreign teacher for the end of this year. We are a small language school with 1 other foreign teacher and 1 chinese teacher, located in Osan city just 40 minutes south of Seoul.

We use an American text titled "Heritage Studies 1, 2 and 6". Our lower level students study about the world and its foundations, Explorers such as Christopher Columbus, The building of North American Colonies and much more. Our upper level students learn about ancient civilizations: Ancient Rome, Greece, India, China, Egypt. They learn advanced vocabulary and take pride in their ability.

This is a great teaching opportunity for a motivated, enthusiastic, kind and lonely teacher. Coming into work everyday shouldn't be a chore, and it isn't with us!

Job description

1: working hours: between 110 to 120 hours per month.

2: Salary: 2,000,000 to 2,200,000 Korean Won

3: Accommodation is provided (fully furnished, bed, table, television, kitchenware, washing machine etc) and paid by the institute. You are not responsible for the payment of the rent but responsible for all maintenance, utility and telephone charges for accommodation.

4.Roundtrip airfare paid.

5: Health insurance provided 50%

6: Job location - Osan, near Suwon

7. Starting date: Dec. 5, 2004

8: Over time rate: 18,000 to 20,000 Won

10.Vacation: depending on the schools’ schedule, but normally 10 vacation days per year in addition to the weekends, and Korean National holidays

11: Severance payment: Upon completion of the full contract period, one month’s base salary is given
