Jeongseon is situated in the mountains of Kangwondo, the most natural province of South Korea. It is an ideal location for anyone seeking an alternative to the big, crowded cities. Although it is small, it is not isolated as there are hourly buses to Seoul, to Gangneung(on the East coast) and to Wonju(the biggest city in Kangwondo).
Life here is easy as a comfortable, furnished apartment is provided. There are many shops, supermarkets and markets in which to buy food and other necessities. There are also plenty of sports and recreational facilities. English movies and other programs are shown on the television and the computer at work is available for personal use.
There are people in Jeongseon who can speak English so a native English speaking person who comes here is appreciated and can easily make friends.
