YBM Si-Sa is looking for a highly dedicated, self-motivated, flexible, creative, and hard-working individual interested in joining its Curriculum/Materials Development Team in Seoul, South Korea.

Deadline for applications is Dec. 17th, 2004. Interview candidates will be notified by email. The successful candidate will begin January 3rd, 2005.

Qualifications
(1)Native speaker of English currently residing in South Korea.
(2)Bachelor’s degree in English or Education; M.A. TESOL degree preferred.
(3)CELTA, or TEFL certificate (100 hours of instruction) with a documented focus on lesson design.
(4)Minimum of 2 years adult EFL teaching experience in Northeast Asia.
(5)Documented experience in curriculum and/or materials development for EFL programs.

Duties:
(1)In conjunction with YBM Si-Sa editorial staff, develop and write lessons for an EFL conversation textbook series.
(2)Participate in syllabus/lesson development meetings.
(3)Edit and/or proofread English language teaching materials.
(4)Working hours: 9 am – 6pm (one unpaid hour for lunch), Monday through Friday.

Salary:
Based on experience and education background.
Severance:
Approximately one month’s salary.
Housing:
Up to 10 million Won key money deposit.
Paid Vacation:
10 days per year in addition to national holidays.

Korean National Health Care (½ paid by employer, ½ by employee)
Visa
10 month E7 visa sponsorship. Expenses involved in procurement of the visa will be reimbursed.
