We need a full time native speaker, for our friendly academy in Gimcheon, South Korea. You must have a university degree or higher. You will be teaching a variety of ages ranging from 10 year olds up to adult (classes are weighted more towards middle/ high school and adult classes). The class sizes are small and allow greater teacher / student interaction. We have an established history of satisfied teachers many of whom have extended their contracts past the one year stage. For the applicant who brings an enthusiasm and desire to teach, this opportunity will also be extended to them.

Gimcheon City is a smallish city (150,000 pop.) handily located next to Daegu and on the main train line. A city building towards the National Games in 2006 it has many beautiful parks situated all within walking distance. Gimcheon has a number of friendly foreigners working at various schools who often get together and socialise.

We offer 1.8million won per month for working up to 30 hours a week at very convenient hours from Monday to Friday. You will be given a fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment (rent free) within 30 seconds walk from the school. We will also pay for a round trip air fare, and a severance bonus of one month's salary when you finish one full year. We will also pay half of your health insurance. Most importantly, no split shifts!
