ILS is a new school to the Yeosu area. Yeosu itself is a coastal city adjacent to one of the southern archipelagos of Korea. The surrounding landscape is beautiful. There are plenty of hiking trails and quick trips to local islands.
ILS is located in a new building and the inside of school has been done in a light hardwood. It’s an attractive place to work without hard white edges.
The curriculum is American and popular in elementary schools. It works well for ESL and, if you enjoy teaching or learning how, can help you understand some basic teaching philosophy and methodology.

Native English speaker
* Bachelors degree in English, Linguistics or Education is preferred
* Teaching experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
* Full-time: 30 hours a week maximum
Five-day work week (Monday to Friday) No Saturdays
* Monthly salary is contingent upon qualifications and experience; basic salary starts at 2 million won per month.
* Contract term: One year
* Overtime teaching is available at 20,000 won per hour.
* Teachers have their own classrooms.*
