Public school positions starting in September
Dear university graduates:

Are you interested in teaching English in South Korea? Spring has just arrived and we are about to begin preparing for the upcoming hiring season for public school positions starting in September. Our company, Easy English Consulting, is the main contractor for the large majority of these positions located in and near Seoul, and so we are gearing up well ahead of time since we have a lot of them.

Easy English Consulting is a small recruiting company that has been providing English teaching jobs to university graduates since 2000, and this time we’re looking to field close to a hundred candidates. Korea has been steadily increasing its number of English teachers in public schools, and intends to have one teacher in each school by the year 2009. That means that these positions are only going to increase, and the biggest problem we have (in all honesty) is finding enough people to fill them!

The payment for these positions depends on one’s salary and experience. A teacher with a bachelor’s degree and no experience will start out with 1.7 to 1.8 million won a month ($1700 to $1800), up to 2.3 or 2.4 million ($2300 to $2400) for a candidate with a master’s degree and experience, or a bachelor’s degree plus TOEFL certification and a few years experience. These are some of the few English teaching jobs in Korea where pay scale is commensurate with experience. Also don’t forget the free round-trip airfare, free housing, bonus one-month salary at the end of the contract, 50% health insurance and extremely low 3-5% income tax rate.

Applicants may apply through a myriad number of ways. As always, one may apply directly online on our home page at http://www.eze365.com. Applications may be sent through email at esljob@hotmail.com. Our phone number is 822-544-9805 and fax number is 822-544-9801. Lastly, we are the only recruiting company in Korea to have a blog! Located at http://eze365.blogspot.com, this site is not just about job postings. Our main web site does the job but is lacking in friendliness, and it was decided to make a blog as well a while back, so as to better communicate with prospective teachers, teachers already hired, and to reminisce about the ESL industry over here in general.

Easy English Consulting is the best recruiting company you never heard of. If you’re looking to teach English in Korea, we’re the company you want. We look forward to talking to you or seeing you online!

Regards,
Thomas Kim
