KONKUK UNIVERSITY CHUNGJU CAMPUS FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTITUTE

KonKuk University Chungju campus Foreign Language Institute is looking for a qualified full-time teacher of English to begin July 1st, 2005.

QUALIFICATION
- Only Native speaker who Currently Stay in Korea
- Native English Speaker with a University degree or higher
- English / TESOL / Education major ＋ Teaching experience preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Teaching a minimum of 65 hours per month but often 20～30 hours a week
- Teaching both adult classes and children's classes
- Doing placement tests for new student
- Evaluating students' performance

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Full-time work
- One-year contract, renewable for another year with good standing
- Furnished housing( 13 pyung apartment)
- Two two-week vacations (minimum)
- No class on Friday
- Teaching in the department of English and Literature of KonKuk University Chungju campus if mutually agreed upon

SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Annual salary 2.7 ～3.0 million won --> Basic salary 1,600,000 won( 65 hours/ month) ＋ overtime ( 21,000 won per hour )
- Monthly 100,000 won transportation allowance
- Free air ticket
- Paid national and school holidays
- Severance pay: equal to one monthly salary
- Health insurance, national pension: around 50 % paid by the institute
