Public school positions near Seoul from September 2005
Dear teachers:
It’s the middle of May and we’re just about ready to start the big hiring season for public school positions starting in September. For those who don’t know us, this is Easy English Consulting, the main contractor for public school positions in Kyunggi-do, the province right next to Seoul. Seoul is geographically right in the centre of the province but technically isn’t considered to be part of it. Like the Vatican ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vatican_City ), if you will. Our positions are located inside Seoul as well as in the province of Kyunggi-do, so there’s quite a bit to choose from, and we have somewhere close to 100 positions to fill this time. The Korean government plans to have one English teacher in every single school by 2009, so these positions are only going to increase from now on.

As with all other English teaching positions in Korea, public schools provide free round-trip airfare, 50% health insurance, free housing, and a bonus one-month’s salary at the end of the year. Unlike hagwons, public schools never go out of business, and thus there is no reason to worry about getting paid on time, possible bankruptcy, and so on. Positions at public schools pay anywhere from 1.7 to 2.5 million won per month, depending on education and experience. There is a set pay scale for the positions depending on education, certification, and experience. Holidays in public schools are usually set at 14 working days per year.

If you are interested in applying for any of these positions you may visit our site at http://www.eze365.com where you’ll be able to find an application on-line. You may also send resumes directly through email at esljob@hotmail.com and you may also phone us at 822-544-9805 or fax us at 822-544-9801. Lastly, we are the only recruiting company to have a blog! We sometimes advertise positions on the blog, but it also works well when there is extra information to talk about, or something that needs to be said. Our blog is located at http://eze365.blogspot.com and it is usually updated about twice a week.

We always have more positions than teachers, so depending on what location you are looking at it should be quite easy to get a job through us. Thanks for your time, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Regards,
Thomas Kim
