I am writing as a current teacher at Il Jung Language School. Recently we experienced a HUGE increase in enrollment. We currently have 4 foreign teachers but now we are in need of a 5th and soon. The contract is a standard 2.0 million won/month contract (housing, paid overtime, insurance, one-week vacation + holidays, severance bonus, etc.). No weekends. No Kinder. No split shifts. Ideal working hours. I can say that I am personally very satisfied with my working conditions and my coworkers (10 Korean teachers, 4 foreign teachers) and I have a few years experience teaching English in private language schools. We are always paid ontime and never denied anything we need. Ulsan is a great city on the coast, 1.5 million in population located 30 minutes from Pusan and about 5 minutes in any direction to great outdoor activities.
