IVY English School

Location: Cheongju, South Korea (90 minutes from Seoul).

Start date: End of June or First of July

Pay and benefits:

Basic Salary is 1,900,000 won depending on the teacher's experience in ESL
Severance pay (1 month salary) upon completion of contract
50% medical insurance
Accommodation and round trip airfare

Work hours: 25 hours per week (6000 min)
overtime pay 22,500 Won per hour

Accommodation:

Air-conditioned furnished studio apartment including TV, video, fridge, washing machine, stove, bed.
Apartment is located 5 minutes walking distance from school.

Age group: 5 to 13 year olds

Requirements:

3 or 4 year University degree

Cheongju is a medium sized city located about 90 minutes south of Seoul. It has a vibrant culture, good shopping, entertainment and dining facilities, with easy access to national parks and recreation facilities. Transportation is excellent both within Cheongju and between cities.

Ivy School is well equipped, in new premises, with ample resources for both teachers (6 foreign teachers and 6 Korean teachers) and students. Foreign teachers are well looked after and receive any assistance required to help perform their teaching duties.

We try to have 3 male and 3 female foreign teachers on staff. We have an opening for ASAP.
