Location: Jeollabuk-do area, Korea
**Six positions available
**Working at Public schools (You will be hired by a Provincial Government Office of Education and will be teaching at public schools at the province).
**Teaching elementary and middle school students
**Starting date: the middle of August,2005
**Salary: 1.8-2.3 M depends on your qualification.
**Housing: single
**Hours of teaching: 22 hours per week.
**Vacation: 14 days per year. Upon completing of your contract if you renew your contract then you will be getting 14 days additional vacation with round trip to your home country.
**Working hours 9am-5Pm Monday to Friday.
**Full government medical benefit, Round trip air Fair will be provided.
**There are three levels of employment for Korean public schools (hired by Provincial Government Office of Education), and all applicants must have the following basic requirements:
Hold at least a Bachelor's degree.
Be a citizen of one of the six major English speaking countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States of America. (Applicants from Korean backgrounds - either a citizen or a legal resident of one of the six major English speaking countries - must have studied from the junior high school level and resided for at least 10 years in one of the six major English speaking countries.)
Be mentally and physically healthy.
Have a good command of the English language.
Have the ability and willingness to adapt to Korean culture and living.
If you are a male citizen of the Republic of Korea under the age of 35, you must have either completed mandatory military service or have received an official waiver.

Qualifications / Skills Needed: A university degree of any field (An undergraduate degree from a recognized university in an English-speaking country is required for an employment visa). English should be your first language. Enthusiastic about teaching. Teaching experience is preferred but not necessarily. If you have teaching experience, you will be offered better salary and benefits.
Salary / Pay: Job description
1: working hours: between 100 to 120 hours per month.
2: Salary: 1,800,000 to 2,300000 Korean Won or more based on your qualifications.
3: Accommodation is provided (fully furnished, bed, table, television, kitchenware, washing machine etc) and paid by the institute. You are not responsible for the payment of the rent but responsible for all maintenance, utility and telephone charges for accommodation.
4.Roundtrip airfare paid.
5: Health insurance provided (50% premium paid by your employer and the other 50% will be paid by you which is approximately 1.6% of your monthly salary), personal income tax rate is between 5 and 7% based on your salary and Korean government tax rate.
6: Job location - Throughout Korea (major cities).
7: Starting date: Throughout the year (In most case, at the beginning of each month)
8: over time rate: 15,000 to 20,000 Won
9: Tax: 3%-6% of your monthly salary
10.Vacation: depending on the schools’ schedule, but normally 10-14 vacation days per year in addition to the weekends, and Korean National holidays
11: Severance payment: Upon completion of the full contract period, one month’s base salary is given
