I am helping my boss find a replacement teacher. It will be from the middle of September. The school is a small family run business. The hours are excellent 3.30pm - 8.20pm, that's 5 50 minute classes. There is no planning, no report cards, no tests and no homework to mark!! Basically your job is to just go into the class, talk to the chldren and improve their pronunciation.
Single housing about 5 minutes from the school. 50/50 medical insurance. 10 days paid vacation on top of the Korean national holidays.
The boss and his wife are very nice.They are very understanding and helpful. There is also one other Korean teacher here but you will be the only foreign teacher. I think the job will best suit someone who knows the area and people here. The boss is here full time and his wife is a university lecturer but comes in most days to teach.
It's a good comfortable job. They are looking for a strong educator and a someone with a passion for teaching.
