2. Hold a BACHELORS DEGREE (with any major)
3. NO experience necessary. NO ESL-type certifications required (such as Tesol or Tefl).
4. ENTHUSIASM IS A MUST!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Here's how the remuneration package options go:

OPTION 1: Mainly for those who can obtain an F-4 visa or not needing housing
- 25,000 ~ 40,000 KRW/hr (depending on level of education, experience, etc).
- Guaranteed minimum 24 hrs/wk (currently most teach 30 hrs/wk)
- Minimum monthly gross is 2.4 million (25,000 KRW/hr X 96 hrs/mo)(3.0 million for 120 hr/mo).
- At a low tax rate of 3.3%, net pay would be 2.32 for 96hrs/mo, 2.9 for 120 hrs/mo.
- Housing deposit (key money) loan up to 5 million won.
- 7 days vacation per year.

OPTION 2: Mostly chosen by instructors coming from overseas with an E-2 visa
- 2.0 ~ 2.2 million won per month for 120 teaching hours a month (depending on level of education, experience, etc).
- Round trip airfare covered up to one million won.
- 50/50 medical insurance and pension plan contribution.
- One month severance pay at end of a 1-year contract.
- E-2 visa sponsorship and airfare for visa run if needed.
- Rent-free single housing studio located near the school.
- 7 days vacation per year.

JOB HOURS and STUDENTS
-----------------------------------

==>A typical teaching week will be 5 working days, always block-shift schedule. Teachers are required to choose one weekend day to teach, but are only required to teach 5 days per week, meaning they have a day off during the weekdays... unless you want a lot of overtime :)

Monday thru Friday : 4PM to 10PM
Saturday or Sunday : Anytime between 2PM and 9PM

The students are from Elementary grade 4 up to High School students
