Job Description

Our partner schools teach students from Kindergarten through adults pupils. In the classroom, the focus is on conversational skills and pronunciation, as most students will be studying English grammar and syntax with Korean teachers. Most classes have between 4 and 10 students.

Teachers are responsible for preparing and conducting classes, providing students and parents with performance feedback, attending meetings with other teachers and administration officials and assisting in the development of classroom methodology. The typical teacher can expect to instruct 25 to 30 hours per week, 100 to 120 hours per calendar month.

Most of foreign English teachers work in private language institutes. Some institutes are well known with many franchise branches while others are small and short-lived. That is one of the reasons why you should go with experienced agencies like us.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
• Native proficiency in English as your first language
• At least a Bachelors Degree of any subject from accredited university
• Willing to relocate to South Korea
• One year teaching commitment (renewable)
• A valid passport to travel abroad
• A strong motivation to be a sincere, committed teacher with the interests of your students as your primary consideration
• A teaching certificate would be an asset, but is not required
Successful applicants can expect
• Salary ranges US$23,000~28,000 per annum. You can save more than a half, even to 2/3, of your annual income.
• Furnished rent free housing
• Free round trip airfare
• No more than 30hrs/week, 120hrs/month contact teaching hours
• Overtime payment
• Medical insurance
• Paid vacation and Korean national holidays
• Low cost of living, low income tax rate
