We are currently interviewing for positions in 3 major school boards in Korea (Incheon Metropolitan, Gyeonggido and Jeollanamdo)for this coming March/April. These positions are within publicly-funded schools at the elementary, middle and high school level. Applicants must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree from Canada, US, UK, Australia, or New Zealand. Applicants with BEd's, TESOL (100 hrs), or teaching experience preferred.

Incheon is located just west of Seoul and is linked to the capital via subway and expressway routes. It is home to Korea’s international airport and also boasts a large ice-free port with passenger connections to China.

Gyeonggido surrounds Seoul and Incheon and has become part of their greater industrial region. Although noted for its rapid urbanization, Gyeonggi is also home to small mountains and plains, making up 54% of the total land area.

Jeollanamdo has long been recognized as a major agricultural and fishing area in Korea, producing some of the freshest and tastiest cuisine in the country. Its coastline which faces the sea to the west and south, extends over 6,000 km, with a total of 1,969 islands along their waterway.

All 3 boards offer competitive salaries and benefits and will be accepting applications for the upcoming school year commencing in March (with the exception of Jeolla in April).

1. Salary: 1.7-2.0 depending on qualifications and experience (salary increases with renewal)
2. Housing: provided by employer
3. Return Airfare: provided by employer
4. Pension contributions
5. Health Insurance Coverage: 50%
6. Severance: one month’s salary upon completion of 12 months
7. Vacation: 2-5 weeks (depending on the board)
8. Settlement Allowance: 300,000 won
9. One week orientation upon arrival
10.Assistance with visa application
11.Teaching Hours: Mon-Fri (9-5), max 22 classes per week.
