Tongyeong City is a suburban area in the southeast of Gyeongsangnam-do. It covers the central and the southern parts of the Goseong peninsula with its 151 islands, 43 of which are inhabited and 108 are uninhabited. The towns of Dosan and Gwangdo in the north adjoin the mainland while Geoje City and the sea border the eastern side. The west of the city faces Namhae County and the sea as the south looks out to the open sea.

*Most schools will accept a Native English Speaker holding only a bachelors degree (min. required for E-2 Visa. Teaching experience is preferred, but not essential.
