40 Vacation Camp Positions on the Beautiful Island Paradise of Jeju

PlanetESL is looking for 40 qualified instructors to staff this year’s vacation camp on the beautiful island of Jeju, South Korea. Situated just 64 kilometers south of the Korean Peninsula, Korea’s largest island, Jeju Island, has been described as the Hawaii of Korea. It offers unbelievably breathtaking views from coast to coast, ranging from the waterfalls at Hae-anjidae to the naturally sculpted cliffs at Jusang Jeolli. One can enjoy these wonderments by hiking, bike riding, paragliding, scuba diving, windsurfing, hunting, horseback riding, swimming in the ocean, and sightseeing boat trips. The camp courses are all set in advance and all lesson books and all course materials are provided. This is our sixth year doing this camp and this year promises to be the best by far.

Dates: January 4th – 24th, 2006
Payment: 2,750,000 KRW (just over $3000 CDN or $2600 USD)
- Instructors are paid on the last day of camp
- No tax of any kind will be deducted. Instructors will receive the entire amount in CASH.
FREE Meals: 3 meals a day are provided by the camp
FREE Accommodations: Furnished dormitories are provided, only two instructors per room, with access to washing machines
Teaching Hours: 9:30am – 4:30pm daily. NO CLASSES on Sundays.

Qualifications: A Bachelor degree in any field. No experience necessary. Applicants MUST be English native speakers.

Instructors are responsible for their own airfare (currently less than $900 from west-coast airports with Japan Airlines) and should arrive the day before the beginning of camp at the latest. Couples or friends can be share rooms.
