Teach English in Daegu, South Korea
Job Descriptions
Teach English in classes of 12 or fewer students (7-16 years old) at private English language institutes in Daegu, Korea with one-year contract term. Most classes are 40-minute long and teachers have 30 hours of classes in total a week. The working hours is usually 2-9pm, or 10am-7pm depending on the institutes. Teachers are required to work from Monday through Friday, but some institutes have classes from Monday through Saturday.

About Daegu city
The City of Daegu is located inland, southeast of the Korean Peninsula. Its population is around 3million. Please visit http://english.daegu.go.kr to find more information on the city of Daegu.

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree

Required documents
- original university degree (or a notarized photocopy by a Korean consulate)
- a copy of passport first page
- resume
- a sealed transcript
- one 3*4cm color photo (4 more photos are needed later)

Other requirements
- Native English speakers from U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa.

Salary; from 1.9million Korean Won per month depending on the experience and workload.

- severance pay, equal to 1 month's salary, after completion of 1-year contract
- round trip air tickets
- 10 days paid vacation and around 10 more national holidays a year
- half of the medical insurance
