Documents you will need to apply for the teaching visa
Must have your university diploma in hand (letters of graduation are not accepted)
University academic transcripts (Sealed/stamp in official university envelope)
A valid passport from USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia and Ireland

Contract teachers will never ever have to worry about being paid on time. We are more reliable than the Korean Ministry of Education.

1. YBM Education Head office will only place teachers at the company owned ECC schools
2. YBM contracts are guaranteed by the YBM head office even if the school you are at is not profitable
3. YBM provides rent-free single studios or shared apartments
4. YBM contracts are 23.75 teaching hours per week which is 95 teaching hours per month
5. YBM offers salaried positions and your pay does not fluctuate based on teaching hours
6. YBM provides prepaid airfare from most major cities
7. YBM adheres strictly to the tax laws and complies with the pension tax (You get 9% back)
8. YBM uses proprietary textbooks developed by the YBM head office
9. YBM ECC has Korean English teachers who teach the grammar aspect of our program
10. YBM ECC offers 250,000 won to all contract teachers as part of the relocation and visa allowance

For teaching 95 hours per month 1.8 to 2.0 million Korean won (Less than 24 teaching hours per week) our teaching hours are lower than the typical 100 to 120 teaching hours most schools offer in Korea. Our salary per class is very competitive and one of the highest especially when you calculate the total package of YBM’s GUARANTEED contract with all the benefits that we provide. Most contracts in Korea require you to teach 30 hours per week and may not provide all the same type of benefits we provide. Do not consider just the monthly salary but the total annual package and with YBM a career package.

A Native English speaker

Have a valid passport from the USA, Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, and Ireland
