IVY English Academy is located in Gangneung South Korea. Gangneung is an average city but consider a smaller city by Korean standards (pop. 200,000). We are located on the east side of the Korean peninsula. The beautiful ocean and the mountains surrounding our city make each day always a very scenic one. Gyeong-po beach (one of Korea's most popular beaches) is located not even 10 minutes away. Gangnueng has all modern conveniences. Gangneung also offers us a great advantage to understand and learn about Korean culture and traditions. Our school is located in the downtown area. We have 8 members on our school staff and we all work well as a team. We teach primarily elementary school students but we do have a few middle, high school and adult classes. Class sizes range from 5-10 students. A regular day is usually 6 hours starting at 2pm and finishing around 8 or 9 pm. Salary and Benefits:
- 2.0-2.1 million Won monthly (depend on experiences)
- Two 5 day holidays one in summer and one in winter plus all National holidays.
- One two bedroom apartment (no roommate)
- Severance Pay (equal to one months pay)

- 18,000 won/hour overtime

Job Description:

- Teaching mainly elementary age students, but, middle school, high school and Adults.
- Teach Monday thru Friday usual schedule from 2pm-8pm

Qualifications:
-MUST BE ABLE TO HAVE FUN!!!
-To really enjoy working closely with children and people of all ages.
-Have a Bachelor's Degree
-Native English speaker
