Teachers Wanted for Daejeon Location – Beautiful neighborhood

Come to Korea and work for the oldest and largest English Language institute in Korea. ECC (English Center for Children) is one of the many subsidiaries of YBM-Sisa. Our company owns 29 ECCs all over Korea including all the major cities. Many teachers want to work for us because of our reputation as a large and well-respected academy.
YBM-Sisa is the largest English Language Institution in Korea. The head office will always pay you on time regardless if the school is profitable or not.
Daejeon is a mid-sized city in the mid-west part of Korea. It is about 2 hours south of Seoul by bus and only a mere 40 minutes by the new bullet train. To Busan, the 2nd largest city in Korea, it will take about 2 hours by bullet train. Unlike the busy hustle of Seoul, Daejeon has a calmer feel with a population of only 1.4 million people. Don’t be mistaken, however; Daejeon is not a small city by any means. There are still many exciting things to do. There are a variety of cultural and historical sites such as Baekje Kingdom as well as a vibrant nightlife. Daejeon offers all the amenities that any big city can offer. If you want to live in a place where there is always plenty to do but can’t stand the headaches of a huge metropolis like Seoul, than Daejeon is the perfect place for you to work and live.
We offer contracts with a competitive salary of \1.8 million to \2.0 million (depending on experience), shared or single housing; return airfare from the nearest major city of prospective teachers, and Korean Medical Coverage. Canadian and American teachers will also receive a pension refund when they go back to their respective countries. The teacher pays a nominal portion towards it every month, which is matched by YBM-Sisa. On the last month of your one-year contract, you will receive the severance bonus, which is an extra month’s payment.
Teachers are expected to work 95 teaching hours a month, which is far below the standard work hours of our competitors, which is usually around 100 – 120 hours a month. If you do happen to work on a Saturday, you will be paid the Saturday pay bonus, regardless if you are under hours during the regular schedule.
