Worknplay, the teacher placement agent will provide applicants with as
much information and advice about living and working in Korea that we
can, through both our website (www.worknplay.co.kr) and ongoing direct contact. We cannot solve every problem, but when we can help, we will.

In better-defined terms, teachers and schools can expect Worknplay to:
1. Provide basic information about living and working in Korea.
2. Liaise between teachers and schools by assisting communication and fostering cultural awareness between them, and by acting as a neutral third party to mediate any disputes that arise.
3. Assist either party (if that party has acted, and is continuing to act, in good faith) to contact the appropriate legal and/or government authorities in the case of a communication breakdown between the parties.

Note: Worknplay has no power to compel either party in any fashion
whatsoever, but we pledge to act in good faith to help solve problems.
Our most important role will be in helping to determine if any
particular grievance is the result of an actual contract violation (in
which case the penalty provisions of the contract should be applied) or
the result of a cultural misunderstanding (in which case the penalty
provisions of the contract must not be applied).
Since many contract-related grievances are documented and conducted
through Letters of Grievance, we will do all that we can to ensure that

(1) all such letters are warranted, and (2) both parties are, at all
times, clearly informed of actions taken by the other during the
grievance process so that neither can claim ignorance of said process.
Teachers and schools are encouraged to visit our website, its message
boards, and related links to post their own messages and queries, and
to learn more about living and working in Korea.
