Seocho City Office is providing 20 public elementary schools in Seocho City area with highly qualified native English teachers in term of the project called ‘Teacher Exchange Program’ twice a year, and as an agency of this Teacher Exchange Program, WHiTE NEXT is seeking an English teacher who will participate in this program for the upcoming spring semester.
This semester will be the 5th semester of this program, and ever since the TEP has started, it has been not only an English educational program but also a cultural exchange program between Korea and America.

* Period & School Hours
The duration of the program will be one semester which will be from March 2nd to July 23rd.
All the teachers are expected to arrive in Korea by around the 24th of February.
Teachers will be teaching Monday through Friday, 20 hours a week (including 1 ~ 2 hours of English classes for local teachers).
* Graders
First grader to sixth grader (it depends on each school)
* Requirements for acceptance
- Native English speakers from the US (us citizenship)
- All the candidates must hold a degree in education or English or have a teaching certificate.
- Elementary education majors and teaching English as a second language certificates are highly preferred
- New York residents preferred
*Compensation
- Monthly salary will be 2.4 million KW
-The airfare for the round trip will be provided, if you are hired outside the Republic of Korea
- Cultural field trips and outings will be provided
*Accommodation
Teachers can choose either to do the homestay or to be provided with a studio by the employer.
→In case of doing the homestay, host family will be responsible for any living expenses, but in return, the teachers have to teach one hour of English as a tutoring lesson for the home-stay child, Monday to Friday (This is not included in 20 working hours).
→In case of living in a studio, key money and the monthly housing stipend of 300,000 won will be provided by the employer, but the living expenses including rent and utilities will be your responsibility.
→In the case you already have a place to live in Seoul or choose to reside in an accommodation that is not provided by employer, the housing stipend will not be provided.
