Good Teachers Good Students is a foreigner friendly company that runs after-school programs in Korean public schools. We currently have several openings in Changwon, a beautiful suburb of Busan. We pride ourselves in quality after-school programs and believe the key to good teaching is happy teachers. We give you the chance to invent your own teaching style and to employ your creative energy into your classes. Your Korean partner will help you with designing lesson plans, making materials, and controlling the students. Working in Korean public schools will give you excellent experience and still give you plenty of free time to enjoy your life abroad. Here are the basics:

Location: Changwon*
Contract: One-year
Salary: 2.0 million won a month ($2000 US dollars)
Housing: Free fully-furnished single apartment close to the school
Airfare: Reimbursement of airfare upon arrival and a free ticket home at the end of your contract
Vacation: 5 days in summer, 5 days at Christmas, 3 sick days, and all Korean national holidays
Severance: 2.0 million won severance bonus upon completion of the contract
Health Insurance: 50% of health costs paid
Korean National Pension Plan: 100% Employer upon completion of the contract
Job Description: Elementary school students, grades 1-6.
Teaching Hours: 8-9am and 1-5pm
Start Date: IMMEDIATELY!!

Requirements: Native English speaker, B.A. or B.S. degree in any subject, NO teaching experience required

*Changwon is an up and coming city in Korea. It has a growing population, currently at about 600,000 people. It is very modern and was designed to have more parks and recreational areas than most other cities in Korea. Busan is a mere 35 minute bus ride away. It has all the amenities of a big city, but without the overwhelming crowds found in Seoul.
