Pay Rate and Benefits :
- A basic salary is from 1.9 ~ 2.0 million Korean Won per month depending on qualifications.
**The Korean tax rate is extremely low, only 3-5%, and housing will be included in your full-time contract. That leaves the average teacher in Korea with approximately $20,000 yearly salary, after housing and taxes. Much more than what the average North American teacher is left with after housing expenses and taxes. **
- Overtime pay rate : USD 16 ~ 18 per hour
- Provide free fully furnished single room housing (walking distance from the school) for each teacher (TV/VCR, Bed, Wardrobe, table/chair, refrigerator, air conditioning, cooking utensils, etc.) For couples are given 2 bed room.
- Provide free round air-ticket (or reimbursement of air fare depending on location).
- One month severance pay upon the completion of one year contract.
- Medical insurance : 50% paid by us ( option).
