June Starts at Korea’s Most Heralded Language Institute

Why apply to a questionable school making grand promises that sounds too good to be true when you can have the security and reliability of a YBM contract? We have various positions at our company-owned ECC schools in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Ilsan, and Bundang for June start with an end of May arrival:

1 position at Yeongdeungpo ECC in western Seoul, close to Daerim subway station on light green line 2 and dark green line 7. We are near the popular Hongdae/Shinchon university nightlife district.

2 positions at Seokchon ECC in affluent southeastern Seoul. We’re close to Jamshil subway station on light green line 2 and the famous Lotte World amusement park and mall as well as the popular Gangnam district. Couples may also apply for this position.

2 positions at Gaegeum ECC in Busan, Korea’s 2nd largest city. We’re in a newer building with great facilities and located in a popular area close to a university where you will find many amenities along with bars, restaurants, and shopping. Couples may also apply for this position.

1 position at Nam-Busan ECC also in Busan. We’re within walking distance to Gwang-an Beach and 15 minutes away from downtown Busan by subway. The subway station is located within steps to our school.

1 position at Haeundae ECC also in Busan. We’re close to Jangsan subway station and located in the famous Haeundae Beach resort and also close to Songjeong Beach.

1 position at Nam-Bundang ECC in the city of Bundang, an affluent suburb just south of Seoul close to Sunae subway station on the Bundang subway line. Bundang is a more modern and cleaner city just a short subway ride from Seoul.

1 position at Daegu ECC in the city of Daegu, Korea’s 3rd largest. Both the school and the housing are located within an affluent area of Daegu. We’re about 2 hours away from Seoul using the bullet train and less than an hour from Busan.

1 position at Buk-Ilsan ECC in Ilsan, an affluent suburb north of Seoul. We’re close to Daehwa subway station on orange line 3. There are many amenities in the area including both western and Korean restaurants and also a large movie theater.

1 position at Hwajeong ECC also in the city of Ilsan. We’re located right next to Hwajeong subway station on orange line 3 which is only 5 subway stops away from Seoul.

These positions are available for native speakers of English with a minimum of a B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited university and passports from the following countries: Canada, U.S.A., the U.K, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and South Africa.

Benefits
-Salary of 1.8-2.0 million won (depending on education and experience)
-Only 95 teaching hours a month (far less than our competitors who usually require 100-120 teaching hours a month)
-Overtime is 16,000-18,000 won per 40-minute class
-Guaranteed contracts; you will always be paid on time and in full by the YBM Head Office in Seoul, regardless if you are under hours or if your school is not doing well
-Prepaid return airfare from the nearest major city of prospective teachers
-Rent-free furnished housing located near the school
-Korean medical coverage
-Pension tax refund for Canadian and American teachers (you get 9% of your income back when you go back to your country)
-Year-end completion bonus (extra month salary)
