The E-learning division of CDI Holdings launched its innovative online writing engine, WM, in the fall of 2005. WM is an acronym for "Waking Minds" which reflects our mission to enlighten people on the importance of effective written communication and how to best develop this essential life skill.
Despite its short history, WM has gained a strong following of students and earned recognition in the educational field. This is largely due to the contributions of the instructors who have committed themselves to providing a level of correction and feedback that is unprecedented in Korea.
Job Description

The WM team is currently seeking qualified candidates who are able to grade student essays using the WM writing engine on a FULL-TIME basis.

- Start date: immediately and for summer
- Monday through Friday (no weekends) from 10:00AM to 7:00PM (1 hr. lunch breaks)
- Opportunity to work 2 out of the 5 days at home or anywhere else with Internet access
- 3 days per week at our corporate office in Daechi-dong (5 minutes from COEX mall)

Requirements

- Preferred Majors: English Literature or humanities majors
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
- Strong written English skills
- Experience teaching Grammar / Writing in Korea is a strong asset
- Must be able to fulfill minimum one-year contract
- Applicants must reside in Seoul or suburbs of Seoul, Korea
- Applicants must be available for training prior to start date.
- Preference given to F-4/F-2 visa holders

Salary and Benefits

- 2.8 million KRW/month base salary (taxed 3.3%)
