Below are the various positions at our company-owned ECC (English Center for Children) schools in Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and Ilsan for June start with an end of May arrival. Please inquire with us if you wish to apply for a later session start.
1 position at Sangye ECC in northern Seoul, close to Nowon subway station on light blue line 4 and dark green line 7. We’re located in the popular Nowon-gu district of Seoul, a bustling area of more than 2 million people. Here you’ll find many ex-pat teachers who work at various academies in the area.
1 position at Haeundae ECC also in Busan. We’re close to Jangsan subway station and located in the famous Haeundae Beach resort and also close to Songjeong Beach.
1 position at Daegu ECC in the city of Daegu, Korea’s 3rd largest. Both the school and the housing are located within an affluent area of Daegu. We’re about 2 hours away from Seoul using the bullet train and less than an hour from Busan.
1 position at Buk-Ilsan ECC in Ilsan, an affluent suburb north of Seoul. We’re close to Daehwa subway station on orange line 3. There are many amenities in the area including both western and Korean restaurants and also a large movie theater along with beautiful Ilsan Lake Park.
1 position at Hwajeong ECC also in the city of Ilsan. We’re located right next to Hwajeong subway station on orange line 3, which is only 5 subway stops away from Seoul. Our housing is in a building right next to our school.

Benefits:
-Salary of 1.8-2.0 million won (depending on education and experience)
-Only 95 teaching hours a month (far less than our competitors who usually require 100-120 teaching hours a month)
-Overtime is 16,000-18,000 won per 40-minute class
-Guaranteed contracts; you will always be paid on time and in full by the YBM Head Office in Seoul, regardless of the financial condition of your school
-Prepaid return airfare from the nearest major city of prospective teachers
-Rent-free housing located near the school
-Korean medical coverage (you pay 2.2% and YBM will pay 2.2%)
-Pension tax refund for Canadian and American teachers (you get 9% of your income back when you go back to your country)
-Year-end completion bonus (extra month salary)
To qualify for the E2 teaching visa you must:
1. Be a native English speaker
2. Have a minimum Bachelor’s degree in any major from an accredited university
3. Have officially sealed academic transcripts from your university
4. Hold a valid passport from one of the following countries: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa
