The National Institute of Technology (NIT) is an institute invested by Australian Education Development Group (AEDG) in China. As the parent entity of NIT, AEDG is a registered educational organization specially engaged in educational research, development, investment and other related activities in the State of Western Australia. With the establishment of school in Japan, Indonesia, Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries, AEDG has achieved a good reputation for its teaching excellence.
Located in Chaoyang District, Beijing, NIT is a newly established educational institute catering for the needs of various students. NIT is associated with a bunch of universities in Australia, to offer degree programs with various specializations: Bachelor of Business, Master of Business Administration (MBA), and PhD research. These institutions include the University of Ballarat (UoB), Holmesglen Institute of TAFE, Monash University, Deakin University, Charles Sturt University, and so forth. The academic standards of our degree programs are ensured by the NIT quality control mechanisms to be in line with those set by the above-mentioned universities.

The bachelor degree program is for students who have either high school certificates or equivalents to complete their tertiary education. The MBA program is for bachelor degree holders and 3-year diploma holders with some work experiences. The PhD research program is for master degree holders with demonstrated research abilities.

As a pre-requisite, IELTS is a systematic English course for all the students to raise their English proficiency levels required to take the academic courses. On top of the IELTS, NIT provides EAP (English for Academic Purposes) as a bridging course for students upon completion of the IELTS and prior to the degree programs. Since the language of instruction is in English, such a unique approach facilitates students in their academic preparation in terms of specialized vocabulary and theoretical concepts, which makes the degree courses much easier. All the programs will be conducted in English by professionally and academically qualified faculty.

NIT has a very strong and experienced leadership and management team. Ms. Lydia Liu, Deputy president of Australian Chinese Commerce Group and Chairman for the Chinese Education Project of Australian Education Development Group, is the Chairman of the Board of NIT. Professor Yenming Zhang, PhD from Harvard University, who has had many years of teaching, research and administrative experiences in Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, is the president of NIT. Dr. John Chen, Professor from Temple University, Philadelphia, is the Director of Academic Advisors Committee. Mr. Francois Dagnee, who has extensive knowledge and experience in teaching English to non-native learners, is the Deputy Director of the Academic Advisors Committee.

NIT aims at creating a nurturing environment for students at secondary, undergraduate and graduate levels by providing high-quality teaching, training and services. Contract terms:

Qualification and treatments for foreign teachers:
Language: English
Degree: English native speakers at least with bachelor degree
Contract time: Half a year or one year, from Oct /2003, as soon as possible
Courses to teach: spoken English, conversation, reading, writing, English and American literature, other.
Salary is +5500rmb one month.
Work-visa is offered.
Workload: 13-15 hours/week
Free Boarding place: on campus
2200rmb for travel allowance.
A month and a half for holiday time.
Free round air ticket for a year contract.

We need to recruit foreign teachers mainly to teach English as a foreign language; Also we would supply mandarin lectures for our foreign teachers who want to learn Chinese weekly.
