The Tsinghua Experimental School in Shenzhen (TESS), affiliated with Tsinghua University in Beijing, is seeking full-time teachers of English for our language center on campus, to begin teaching in February.

TESS first opened its doors to students in September 2002. Now in its second academic year, we've established an optional language center on campus where students can attend their English lessons with a native English speaker. Due to the success of this program, we are expanding our services to include more students for the second term.

Position details:
- Lessons are Monday through Friday, mornings and afternoons.
- Currently enrolled students are from 6 to 10 years old.
- Class sizes are an average of 20 students.
- Classes meet 40 minutes per day, 5 days a week.
- Currently teachers are responsible for 5 classes, or 25 periods per week.

We offer:
- an 11-month contract from February 04 to January 05

We require:
- EFL teaching qualifications from a reputable training program, or sufficient practical experience
- university degree preferred, especially if related
- native English speaker status
- experience with children
- a desire to work with children
- basic computer skills
