American Language Services needs two full-time English teachers. Couple welcome.

Start: March 1st, 2004 with one year contract.

Requirements: The teacher must be a native English speaker with a bachelor degree. A CELTA (or equivalent) and experience is desirable). Due to schedule changes and traveling to classes, the teacher should be flexible and cooperative.

Classes: To teach private, group, school, and business classes. Classes range from 1 to 40 students.

Hours: Monday through Friday with class slots during a 9:00-21:00 time frame. The teacher will teach 80 hours per month.

Vacation: One week in summer and a week in winter. All national hoidays will be given.

Salary: 220,000 yen/month.

Accommodation: Assistance will be given in finding an apartment. Teachers do not have to pay key money. Teachers pay rent and amenities.

ALS is a private English conversational school at the foot of Mt. Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
