I am a teacher in China. I have lived and worked here for quite some time. I have had wonderful experiences and have been cheated by companies many times.

Currently I have a position available with a middle school in Sichuan, China, just outside of Chengdu.

The position pays 5000RMB a month for 16-18 teaching hours a week. You will have a fully furnished appartment and completely legitamate (Z) visa. You will have full internet access at school and you can have an internet connection in your appartment.
This contract also offers a 5000RMB airfair reimbursment and 2000RMB travel allowance.
You will be reponsible for oral English training to junior middle school students, Grades 1-3. Each class or teaching hour will be forty (40) minutes.
The contract will be for a length of ten months. Beginning Sept. 2004 through June 2005. All holidays will be payed in full.
The School is located in Qianwei, a small town about an hour and a half outside of Chengdu. This is a very interesting place and will allow you to see the real side of Chinese culture while being able to get back to Chengdu for a hamburger or just some cheese.

Chengdu is a great city. It is the gateway to Tibet. People are friendly and respectful to foriegners. It is clean and orderly. It is one of the most comfortable cities I have lived in in China. In other words it is a good city for westerners to adjust to China.

5000RMB is about five times the average salary and is more than enough to live any lifestyle you chose and save money.

With the 'Z' visa you will recieve a Foriegn Experts Certificate and Residency Permit.
