Requirements:
Native English speaker
Graduate of a university/ college or TESOL certificate or teaching experience
Enthusiasm for teaching children aged 4-12

CHES is a large school with over 2000 students. In Zhongshan the school is spread over three campuses. The kindergarten and primary school campuses are in the suburb of Dong Ming Gardens and the secondary school campus is in Chow Mien Sui. Chow Mien Sui is a fifteen-minute taxi ride to the central shopping district of Zhongshan. It is a lovely campus that is surrounded by lots of green trees and pretty vegetation. As it has only been built in the last five years the buildings are very modern. Each classroom throughout all three campuses has a computer that allows teachers to show PowerPoint presentations, Internet pages and movies to the students when required. Zhongshan
Zhongshan itself is a lovely city and boasts a population of 1.5 million- quite small for China! Compared to larger cities like Guangzhou (the capital of Guangdong Province) and Hong Kong, Zhongshan is clean and quiet. It is a modern city and has some great shopping centers, western restaurants, and many fast food franchises like McDonalds and KFC. One other great aspect is that it is close to some major centers. It is two hours from Guangzhou by bus, and 1 and a half hours travel by bus and ferry to Macau and Hong Kong.
