With September approaching fast we are looking for 2 qualified native speakers to take up the following posts in Chengdu and Chongquing. Please only applicants from the US, Canada, UK, Australia, or New Zealand for these posts.

Shichuan Commercial and Vocational College (Chengdu)

Term: 1 academic term 9-10 month contract
Teacher Trainer 5,000 RMB with potential for more.

Teaching hours: 16 to 20 with some supervisory work to be done as well extra teaching hours would be paid as overtime. Such work includes viewing and recommending alternative teaching practices to the Chinese teacher’s classes and improving their language skills. Also some work might be involved with evaluating the performance of the native speaking teachers or in the very least providing lesson coordination and planning. We really don't anticipate this to be as daunting as it might sound. But would prefer applicants to have both solid and extensive teaching and managerial experience, or hold a TEFL qualification (preferably DELTA or CELTA) or Master's in the field.

Perks: return airfare from home country reimbursed upon arrival. (Employer will hold onto return ticket until you leave)

Holiday package for a 1 week vacation Jiuzhaigou or other popular destination worth up to 2000 RMB
Paid vacation during term breaks with the chance to work for additional pay.

Private accommodation (2 bed flat utilities included)

Bonus of 5000 RMB paid upon completion of contract.

This is more of a standard contract of 20 hrs teaching with the chance of overtime and a salary of 4000 RMB.

Accommodation: private 3 bed flat with large living room and cable TV, utilities included.
Return Airfare to home country included
Also a paid holiday package is included.

This school would also hire a couple or close friends due to the nature of the housing. At this time the need for two teachers is not urgent but if this opportunity arises we would certainly consider it.

Qualifications: in the very least a Bachelors degree is sufficient but we would appreciate and prefer a TEFL certificate or at least 2 years experience without the TEFL qual. This is mainly due to the high standard of education of this Secondary School.
