Requirements:
* Must be a Native English speaker
* Minimum: degree in Education and a TESOL/TEFL qualification
* Must have experience working with ESL students in an IELTS type course
* Prefer someone who has had experience administering/ marking the IELTS exam.

Position Description:
1. Creation of an IELTS curriculum for Senior 1 and 2 classes
2. Creation of an intensive IELTS curriculum for Senior 2 (form 5) class

In 2006 China – Hong Kong English School will be running a university preparation program in conjunction with an Australian University where Senior 3 (final year secondary) students will study for a year in our school and then be able to continue with university studies overseas. Thereby significantly decreasing the amount of time they have to spend at university and guaranteeing them a placement in an Australian university. This course has been met with much anticipation by our parents and many students are interested in enrolling.

To get into this course our students will need to have a score of IELTS 5. Therefore our Senior 1 and Senior 2 students need to start studying for the IELTS test NOW. We have scheduled 8 lessons of 40 minutes duration a week and we have an experienced teacher dedicated to just teaching IELTS. However, what we now need is an appropriate IELTS curriculum that will provide our students with an intensive IELTS training and that will prepare them to take and achieve a 5 in the IELTS test.

We would therefore like to employ a dedicated curriculum writer that has experience in IELTS to come to our school for four months. At the end of this period of time we will expect a complete IELTS curriculum for Senior 1 and 2 as well as a separate curriculum for current Senior 2 students who will have to have a more intensive course in IELTS.
