We URGENTLY REQUIRE a FULL TIME ESL teacher for our new childrens language centre (4 to 12 years of age)in Suzhou.

The school is only 6 months old and is in a very good neighbourhood center. We are fully resourced, foreign owned and run by the only other teacher, me an Australian Woman. The School is very committed to teaching English through its own highly developed curriculum and lesson plans. The classes are small (less than 10) and fun. Our method is mainly experiential and there is a lot to learn from working here.

Suzhou is an Ancient city with many World Heritage sites, in and around the city. It has a good ex pat community and plenty of good food and bars. It is a clean city for China

We are looking for someone right now, We prefer a female, but if you are male dont let that put you off. Mature, over 30, Responsible. Must be a native speaker from the usual countries. Must have a degree. teaching exp or ESL cert. pref. a neutral/MILD accent with good diction. Must have energy in the classroom and in the office. Be able to talk to parents, help out with assorted jobs, etc We do prefer someone already in China due to the urgency of the matter or else someone who has experience in China or other Asian countries

You will be required to work 38 p/w with no more than 22-25 hrs per week in the classroom though at present it is only around 10

The pay is 7000RMB per month, visa expenses, shared fully furn large 3 bedroom 2 bath apart with one other. All elect and water bills paid, return airfare to home country after one year
A good supportive work environment, Part money paid in foreign currancy if req, a great city to work in, orientation around the city etc etc
